Anonymous: Tips on painting nails? and evening out eyebrows? Anything on cutting hair at home? {:

For painting your own nais: go slow and even! Let each coat of polish dry so you don’t get them messed up. Also, don’t try to do things while your nails are still wet! :)

Evening out eyebrows: No one’s eyebrows are both the exact same, not even celebrities. You can get them really close however. I recommend going at getting them done at a salon, and then the just plucking the stray hairs as they grow in.

Cutting hair at home: I don’t recommend it :( There isn’t a way you can cut your own hair at home and make it look like a salon cut, but only because your stylist is at different angles than you could be.

echoesoffthesky-deactivated2011: This is a question about eyebrows (:

I pluck and wax my own eyebrows, and have gotten really good at it. Unfortunately, about a year and a half ago, I went too far over in the middle, and it has taken them
A year and a half to grow back in above my eyes and such. They have gotten a bit more hair grown in and look better, but are still sparse enough to where I have to pencil them in. I don't really like how they look penciled in and I want to go back to my natural eyebrows- just hair and natural shape- no pencil. Is there any way that I can make the hair grow faster? I was thinking Rogaine? I don't know... Whatever you can suggest is amazing (:

Thanks & Love,
avery

Oh no! I’ve had that happen before, it’s not fun.

One thing I’d say about penciling them in (I pencil mine in a little) is to use a Q-Tip to take out the harshness of the pencil. Just run the Q-Tip over your brow a few times and it should soften up the edges and color to look more natural.

As for having them grow faster, all I have to say is don’t touch them with tweezers or wax. I know how hard it is to have bushy, messy brows, but the best way to get the full shape back is to let all the hair come back in.

I’ve never heard of using Rogaine on eyebrows! If you feel up for trying it, I’d say go for it carefully. Make sure you don’t get any in your eyes :(

This eHow, on step 3, tells you a great way to do it: http://www.ehow.com/how_2082099_regrow-eyebrows.html

Good luck! Let me know if that works for you, and I hope I helped :)
